Who we are
AxiionIQ is a market analytics platform operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [ENTITY ADDRESS]. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you provide
Account information. Authentication is handled by Clerk, a third-party identity provider. When you create an account, Clerk stores your email address and any name or profile details you provide. We receive an identifier for your account and the associated email.
Payment information. Billing and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not receive, store, or have access to your full card number. Stripe holds payment credentials under its own privacy policy; we store only a customer reference and subscription status.
Platform preferences. Watchlists and symbols you track, alert settings, display and page preferences, and trading-rule settings you configure.
AI assistant conversations. If you use the in-platform AI assistant, your messages are stored so conversations persist, and message content is sent to OpenAI to generate responses. Do not include sensitive personal or financial account details in those messages.
Brokerage connections
If you connect a brokerage account, this is important to understand:
We never receive or store your brokerage username or password. Brokerage authorization is handled through SnapTrade, a regulated brokerage connectivity provider, or directly via the brokerage's own OAuth flow. You authenticate with your brokerage, not with us.
What we store is an encrypted authorization token, encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM with a key held separately from the database. We also store brokerage account metadata — account names, balances, and positions — so the platform can show your portfolio alongside our analytics.
If you enable trading features, we store a record of every order intent, the risk checks applied, and the resulting fills.
You can disconnect a brokerage at any time from your account settings. This revokes the authorization at the brokerage and removes the stored token.
Information collected automatically
We record operational and diagnostic events needed to run the service: API request logs, errors, and system alerts. We use these to keep the platform working and to investigate problems.
Market data
The market data shown in AxiionIQ comes from third-party providers including Polygon.io, Tradier, Finnhub, Financial Modeling Prep, and ThetaData. We also analyze publicly available discussion from sources such as Reddit and X. This data is about markets and public posts, not about you, and your personal information is not sent to these providers.
How we use information

- To display your portfolio and generate the analytics you request
- To save alert settings and other platform preferences you configure (alert delivery is not yet available)
- To respond to support requests
- To detect and prevent abuse
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your brokerage data or portfolio holdings with advertisers.
Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run the service: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (application hosting), SnapTrade (brokerage connectivity), and OpenAI (AI assistant responses). Each processes data under its own terms.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your account information and platform data for as long as your account is active. Operational and diagnostic data is retained on a rolling basis and periodically removed.
You may request access to, export of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing privacy@axiioniq.io. Deleting your account removes your platform data; some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.
Security
Brokerage authorization tokens are encrypted at rest. Database access is restricted by row-level security policies scoped to your account. Credentials for third-party services are held server-side and are never exposed to the browser.
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact security@axiioniq.io.
Children
AxiionIQ is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date, and we may notify you in the platform.
